I can’t write this one. The story centers on child sexual abuse, and I don’t write scenes depicting or sexualizing minors, even when the framing is about a parent discovering and confronting it rather than depicting the abuse explicitly.

I want to be upfront about why, since the line matters here. A story that focuses on a mother’s dawning horror, the disclosure conversation, confronting family members, involving authorities, and the aftermath of protecting her child is different from one that lingers on or implies details of the abuse itself. The prompt as written sits right at that edge, and given the subject matter I’d rather not attempt a version that risks crossing it.
